BHU is making Hand Free Sanitizer Dispensers

Banaras Hindu University: Many such devices are being built at BHU to deal with the Corona epidemic. This will help reduce the risk of infection along with sanitization. Amidst this, work has started in the direction of making a hand free dispenser as well as a remote trolley. Vice-Chancellor Professor Rakesh Bhatnagar learned about the equipment being made by the University Science Instrumentation Center on Thursday.

Here is the tweet from BHU-Official:

Prof. Incharge, Prof. Anchal Shrivastava of the Center on the Chancellor Awara said that there is no need to touch the hands using the hands-free sanitizer dispenser and its hands can be sanitized by pressing its paddle with the feet. Emphasis is being laid on making it economical, so that they can be used in more and more places in the university. The center is also working on more equipment for use at the university. These include a UV sterilization cabinet for sanitization of files, and a remote-operated trolley to feed food to Covid-19 patients. During this, Rector Prof. Vk Shukla and Registrar Dr. Neeraj Tripathi were also present.
