Along with the declaration of result of Undergraduate Entrance Exam (BHU-UET), preparation for counselling has also started. Banaras Hindu University is all set to conduct its counselling for admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses from 2nd week of October. This time around 5.25 lakh candidates had applied for admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at BHU.

After the declaration of result of BHU-PET, preparations of the cutoff determination for counselling have started in various postgraduate courses at BHU. Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Social Sciences as well as Institute of Science have decided the cutoff of the courses. Counselling is expected to begin by the second week of October. Offline and online help desks will also be created for counselling. The cutoff of the postgraduate level courses for which the results have been declared, will be sent to the candidates on their portal. The first phase of BHU entrance examination was conducted for various graduates and postgraduates courses from August 24 to August 31, while the second phase from September 9 to September 18.
