College students will be promoted

First-year students will be promoted on the basis of internal assessment whereas second-year students will be promoted on the basis of current year’s internal assessment and previous year’s marks. This thing will be applicable only in those areas where it is difficult to conduct the examination.

College exams update

Human Resource Development Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank organized a live ‘webinar’ with more than 45 thousand higher education institutions and their heads on Wednesday. Many professors have thanked HRD Minister and welcomed HRD Minister. On this occasion, Dr. Nishank said that only the final year exam will be conducted in colleges. First and second-year students will be promoted in the next semester based on internal assessment.

Nishank said the first-year students will be promoted in the next semester on the basis of internal assessment. At the same time, the second-year students based on the internal assessment of the current year and the marks of the previous year. 50% of this year’s internal assessment and 50% of last year’s marks will be added. This rule of promoting students will be applicable only in those areas where it is difficult to conduct the examination in view of the safety of the students. He made it clear that the final year would be the exam. If the situation does not improve by July, new dates of examination will be announced.

Educational institutions are closed due to lockdown

The lockdown was carried out in the last March in India to prevent coronavirus infection. Schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions are closed across the country due to the lockdown. All examinations, including competitive exams, were also postponed. Dates for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEET exams have been announced. These exams will be held in July and August. CBSE 10th and 12th class exam date sheet has also arrived.
