Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three year-long professional post-graduate course for candidates who wants to delve deeper into the world of computer. This programme is a blend of both theoretical as well as practical knowledge. An MCA degree opens various opportunities for students to work with tools meant to develop better and faster applications. It is focused to provide a modern, industry-based education in computer science. Eligibility

Bachelor‟s Degree under 10+2+3 pattern in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (including all subjects studied at Bachelor’s level) with Mathematics as one of the subjects at either Intermediate or (10+2) or equivalent examination, or, Bachelor‟s level (as a main or a subsidiary subject).

Procedure of Admission

The University has its Entrance Test Portal with the domain name www.bhuonline.in. Its link is also available on the BHU website (www.bhu.ac.in).
The candidate has to fill the application form via online mode only.
An email will be sent regarding Counseling and other details to the candidates who have applied for the course on their registered email id.
Accordingly, candidate can proceed further for Admission.

Master of Computer Appllications is a 3 year course which includes a total of 6 semesters.

Fees Structure

The MCA course at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus (RGSC), Mirzapur is under Paid Seat category having the fees structure of Rs.60000 per semester + regular fees of the MCA course prescribed by the University. Here, maximum number of seats is 20. The candidates willing to take admission at RGSC, Barkachha, Mirzapur will be required to choose it as their option/preference of location at the time of counseling and the admissions will be made as per merit and the choice of the candidate. Further if the number of candidates opting for MCA at RGSC is less than the minimum number of seats prescribed in the course, then the course may not run in that academic session.
