BHU Entrance Exam 2020: The second phase of the entrance examination for the admission in Banaras Hindu University, which is being held at the all-India level, starts from Wednesday, September 9, which will run till September 18. In this phase entrance examinations for graduate-level courses will be conducted. In order to facilitate the students, offline examination centres have also been established in many cities. Offline examination centres have been set up in four cities of Uttar Pradesh, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur, while offline examination centres have been set up in Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Patna, Gaya and Purnia in Bihar.
Along with this, there are a total of 47 offline examination centres in Varanasi. Of these, 20 are in the Banaras Hindu University campus while four have been set up in Kamakhya. 17 centres have been set up in Varanasi for online examination. In the entrance examination to be held tomorrow, there will be examination for BCom in the first shift from 8.30 am to 11.00 am, while in the second shift, there will be an entrance examination for BSc (Bio) from 4 pm to 6.30 pm. More than 68000 candidates have been registered for the entrance examination to be held on 09 September.

In the wake of global pandemic COVID-19, the SOP for conducting the examination at all the centres is being strictly followed, in which all the arrangements including physical distancing, thermal scanning and hand sanitizer of the candidates have been made. For smooth conduct of the entrance examination, the exam controller met the centre superintendents and took stock of the preparations. Instructions have been issued to ensure all arrangements in this regard and adherence to SOP.
