The university has taken an important decision regarding the semester examination to be held from September 10 to the students of the session 2019-20 final semester at BHU. Students who are going to appear in the online open-book examination (BHU OBE) and do not have networking and hardware facilities, can go to their nearest Common Service Center and download the exam paper and upload their copy after the exam.
They will not have to pay any kind of fee for this. It has been decided by the university to conduct an online open-book examination for undergraduate students. Examination program has also been released for this.
What is Open Book Examination?
Open-book examination (OBE) allows students to take notes, texts or resource materials during their examination. They test the ability of students to find and apply information and knowledge, so are often used in subjects that require direct reference to enactments.

The university has tied up with the Common Service Center Academy under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for students lacking network and hardware facilities in the exams to be held from 10 September. This will benefit the students.
Students can go to their nearest service centre on the day of examination and download their paper from BHU website and after giving the exam, they can upload the copy by going to the same centre. Students do not have to pay any fee for these services.
