BHU News: Banaras Hindu University has released its academic calendar for the new academic season 2020-21. In this academic calendar, the scheduling of counselling, admission, classes and semester examination for admission to postgraduate and graduate courses in all faculties and institutes, except Institute of Medical Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Institute of Management is mentioned.
Highlights
- Admission process for the postgraduate course will start from October 1 to 15.
- Counselling process for graduate courses will start from October 15 and continue till November 2.
- IMS-BHU and IAS-BHU is not mentioned in this academic calendar.
BHU has released its academic calendar for the new season 2020-21. The admission process for the postgraduate course will start from October 1 to 15 and October 16 to 18 for the regular and paid seats in the respective colleges.

Also, the counselling process for graduate courses will start from October 15 and continue till November 2. Whereas the counselling for paid seats in the main campus will start from November 3 to November 5 and the counselling will be from November 6 to 16 for admission in affiliated colleges and the south campus of BHU.

Online classes has been resumed for the existing students of the BHU. Online classes of odd semester students have started from September 10 and will continue till 30th December 2020 (a total of 90 days). While the classes of EVEN semester students will begin from January 18 and will continue till 5th May 2021. Classes for the first semester of undergraduate courses will be conducted from 6th November to 21st February 2021, while classes for the first semester of postgraduate courses will begin from October 16 and continue till 5th February 2021. The second-semester classes of undergraduate courses will run from 10th March to 25th June 2021, while postgraduate classes will run from 25th February to 12th June 2021. Meanwhile, semester examinations will also be held, whose dates have also been announced.
